Almost done - VinBlog reloaded. A long wait and its almost done. Yup, the VinBlog which was earlier hosted at rediff, is almost set to be relaunched at my own domain and web hosting space. It took me exactly 15 minutes to set the MovableType thingie at my host. Such an ease. I would say the impression of TotalChoiceHosting.com (my web host) till now has been excellent. The CPanel it provides, though not a very good looking UI (UserInterface), has almost all the controls you need to run a web space. However the cliche has been in the domain registration. I had registered the domain at webcomindia.net and it is yet to be registered. Also I am slightely unclear about my domain transfer. Though it looks as simple as pointing the DNS1 and DNS2 of my domain to the name servers of TCH, I am unsure about it untill I really get the thing going. The domain name propagation this, as quoted is said to take atleast 24-72 hours. So as soon as this gets done, I will be all set to launch the new VinBlog. More articulated, More elegant and all under my control. Now I dont have to worry about the blogspot ad that shows up right up there, like here at somatosense. I dont have to worry about comments, trackbacks, the RSS feed. I am going to get all this and more at MovableType. So so far so good. I need to work a bit on the design part, I am almost there, I just need a 2-3 hours to design my new look template and the layout. Thats the update about VinBlog for now. Over the weekend, apart from setting the MT thing up, spent the whole day saturday with my mom, she left that evening back home. When I cribbed about my health, my food problem, the unorderly life, She believes all that would change after August. Guess why, my stars. They are gonna show the favour on me. I hope they do. But I have faith in myself than on stars. I am going to try my best anywaz. Voila, I watched 'The Matrix - Reloaded'. And boy, I loved it. I would give a ***** (5 stars) for that movie. Earlier I had planned to watch this with none other than Jivha. But yesterday somehow I could not resist the urge to give it a go. Sorry J, but hey I am gonna watch this again. In symphony. So still I am coming with you. Dont forget to give me a ping, when you are ready. The conversations, so philosophical and high-end. The long phrases and witty dialogues. The high-tech action, the superman thing by Neo, the one handed tussle with hundreds of Agent Smiths, the Morpheous, Trinity runway with the keymaker, the life-saving act by Neo again, there are more than these sequences which are spell-binding. Somethings never change and somethings do. Absolutely recommended.
